FOR OUR NEW VISITORS

Dear Visitor, Welcome to our site! Although we believe most folks who visit us are Christians, we feel led to share a few thoughts with you to provide reassurance or guidance or both if necessary. If you are not a Christian (and even if you are for that matter), we'd like you to know Jesus isn't in the business of condemnation in this present day - He's in the forgiveness and reconciliation business! Everyone seems to have heard of or read John 3:16:

"For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

We often stop there instead of continuing on into the next verse, 17, and miss these words:

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him (Jesus)."

In verse 18 we all are given the assurance that IF we believe we are NOT condemned and in Romans 8:1 we are again told:

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus..."

We are "in" Christ when we believe in whom He said He is - this happens as soon as you believe, no works or other requirements are necessary! And remember the scripture says "NO condemnation" and "NOW".
