Services range from Curriculum Kits to Sattelite / Correspondence programs. Curriculum Kits and materials can be purchased separately and independently, record-keeping is done by the homeschoolers. With Sattelite/Correspondence programs, families enroll their children, use textbooks purchased through these schools, and send back work and tests for grading, evaluation and offical transcripts. Active Learning Academy - Active Learning Academy provides families with an accountable, secure source to homeschool their children, regardless of religion, sex, race, or culture. Active Learning Academy offers an alternative. Calvert School offers K - 8th grade. Offers correspondence courses, French, Spanish, Little House, and Beatrix Potter courses. Calvert's strength is their coverage of of geography, history, poetry and literature.
